Editorial Team — the geeks behind the articles

We don’t have cybersecurity degrees hanging on our walls — but we know our way around technology better than most. We’re a YouTube kid who grew up on the internet, a digital nomad who’s worked from three continents this year, and a forum dweller who’s read every Reddit thread worth reading on the subject. Everything we write lives on TipsFromGeeks. If it’s bad, we’ll say so. That’s the whole deal.

Andrew has been online since childhood — it all started around 2010 when he discovered PewDiePie and realised YouTube was something else entirely. Technology in general has been his thing ever since: gadgets, software, platforms, and yes, VPNs. Ask him about any YouTuber and he’ll know exactly who they are, what they make, and which ones are actually worth watching.

Sofia works from wherever there’s a connection — which this year has meant three different continents. For her, a VPN is as essential as having a working SIM card. Her writing comes from real situations: sketchy hotel wifi, restrictive networks, dropped calls at the worst moment. If something holds up on the road she’ll say so. If it doesn’t, she’ll say that too.

Dara spends her time where honest opinions actually live — Reddit threads, forums, community discussions where nobody’s trying to sell you anything. She reads everything: real user feedback, long-running tech debates, and the comments that marketing copy hopes you never find. If a product has been called out online, she’s already seen the thread.
